Pulley Light Switch

Laziness is a characteristic that every human has. Walking is tiresome and most people use a remote or other devices to complete an objective.Using a wheel and axis to control a pulley to turn on a light came to me when I was in my bed ; thinking on how to be more lazy.

Supplies

  1. Amazon box (cardboard box)
  2. Scissors

  3. Krazy Glue

  4. Double Sided Tape

  5. Ruler

  6. Pencil

  7. Small cup

  8. Small flexible axis

Step 1 : Creating the Wheel and Axis

Draw the circle and outer circle

Draw and cut its respectable Size ( Large Circle(9cm)), ( Small Circle(4.5 cm))

Glue them where their shown in the drawing.

Step 2 : Creating a Pulley

Draw pulley and it's dimensions

Draw pulley and it's dimensions
Cut the specific materials to make a pulley

  • Outer circle
  • Inner circle
  • axis
  • Cardboard background
  • small cup

Step 3 : Wrapping

Wrap the shoelace around the wheel and axle, as well as the pulley

Step 4: the Light Switch

Wrap around the light switch or just make a loose.

Step 5: Turning on the Light

Use the steering wheel to turn on the light switch.

If you want to extend the distance between the wheel and pulley, just create more pulleys (most likely a combination pulley). Or make a simple rube goldberg machine that eventually connects to the pulley.
