Tamarind rice is a Indian Food... It is a famous temple prasadham in India.. Perfect for lunch box... You can store the tamaring gravy upto to a week or two in fridge. Cook the rice and mix it with the gravy.. Serve with chips/papads...

Ingredients

1. Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp

2.Urad Dhal - 1 Tsp

3.Channa Dhal - 1 Tsp

4. Curry Leaves - 1 String

5.Red chilli - 1

6.Peanuts - 2-3 Tbsp

7.Tamarind - 1 Amla size soaked in 1 cup of water.

8.Turmeric - 1/4Tsp

9. Salt Required

10. Oil - 2-3 Tbsp (Gingely Oil Preferred

For Powder

1. Hing - 2 small piece

2.Red chilli - 4-5 (Adjust to your taste)

3.Coriander seeds - 1Tbsp

4.Channal dhal - 2Tsp

5.Pepper - 3/4Tsp

6.Fenugreek Seeds - less than 1/4 Tsp
