I needed an extension for my pruning shears. As I already had a telescopic pole for window cleaning, I thought of using this as a base. The pole has two spring-loaded pins to keep the tool in place.
I took a block of wood and drilled a hole matching the thinnest end of the pole.
Drilled two holes for the locking and recessed them with a knife to be able to push the locking pins in completely
Screwed two eyes in the adaptor and one eye in the handle of the shear to act as a 1:2 reduction.
Jam the other handle of the shear in the large hole.
Fit a piece of rope.
