Protein Bites

Do you need a tasty snack to enjoy any time of the day?

I am going to be teaching you how to make a chewy, oatmeal treat maybe to feed a child you are babysitting or to hold you over before a game.

I will be walking you through 13 steps to make these delicious bites without any baking!

Supplies

Ingredients: 1 cup (dry) oatmeal, 2/3 cup coconut flakes, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup ground flaxseed, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/3 cup honey, 1 Tbsp. chia seeds, 1 tsp. Vanilla extract

Supplies: a big bowl, a spoon, a container, a measuring cup, and measuring spoons.

Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Get Ingredients

For the ingredients, you will need 1 cup (dry) oatmeal, 2/3 cup coconut flakes, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup ground flaxseed, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/3 cup honey, 1 Tbsp. chia seeds, 1 tsp. Vanilla extract. For the supplies, you need a big bowl, a spoon, a measuring cup, a container, and measuring spoons.

Oatmeal

Pour 1 cup (dry) oatmeal, using a measuring cup, into the bowl.

Coconut Flakes

Add 2/3 cup of coconut flakes, using a measuring cup, into the bowl.

Peanut Butter

Scoop, using a measuring cup, 1/2 cup of peanut butter into the bowl.

Flaxseeds

Using a measuring spoon, add 1/2 cup of ground flaxseeds into the bowl.

Chocolate Chips

Pour 1/2 cup of chocolate chips into the bowl.

Honey

Pour 1/3 cup of honey into the bowl.

Chia Seeds

Pour 1 Tbsp. of chia seeds into the bowl.

Vanilla Extract

Pour 1 tsp. of vanilla extract into the bowl.

Mix

After all of your ingredients are added into the bowl, mix them together with a spoon and then start mixing with your hands.

Refrigerate

Cover the bowl with saran wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Shape the Mixture

Take the bowl out of the refrigerator. Then, roll small portions of the mixture into a round, ball shape. After you roll them, put them into a container

Refrigerate Again

Put a lid on the container and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, take them out of the refrigerator and enjoy!

You can always eat these anytime of the day. You can give these to the children you are babysitting as a tasty snack, unless they have a peanut allergy. It is so easy to make because it requires no baking with only eight ingredients.
