Anti-theft Sandwiches Bag Mould Bag and Soya Milk Hidden Safe.

Hello,

Possibly the worst thing about sharing a house with other students is the way food goes missing, especially if someone comes back from the pub when everyone else is in bed.

It's not the brussel sprouts or the lentils that disappear, it's the yummy treats or carefully prepared sandwiches that you have saved to eat the next day.

You could just hide your food in your room but in the height of summer, refrigeration is needed.

To stop this use a bag that gives the impression of mould and a safe made from a soya milk carton.

Step 1 : Study Your Mould, Choose Your Shade of Greens.

Get an idea of the colour of mould and choose some paints to mimic it.

I did try a marker pen but I couldn't get the colour right so I used acrylic paint.

Step 2 : Paint the Outside of the Bag.

Paint the outside of your bag, let it dry and place it inside of another bag.

Step 3 : Put in Your Food in the Fridge.

Put in your sandwich in the fridge and relax.

Step 4 - the Soya Milk Safe.

To everyone except vegans, soya milk has the most repulsive imaginable taste.

Even when faced with black tea, most people will street clear of it.

With a little sneakiness it is perfect to hide things in.

This works if everyone in the house has tasted soya milk at least once so that they know how much that they don't like it.

This is almond milk but it has almost the same repellant properties.; rice or oat milk are others.

Step 5 - Do Some Cutting.

Ok, draw a rectangle on the back of the carton.

Cut the top and bottom edges and one long edge with a scalpel.

Score down the remaining long edge; this is your hinge.

Step 6 - Give It Some Weight.

Add about a half inch of low denomination coins to give it a realistic weight .

Fill it with yummy things.

Close the door that you have made.

Place it at the back of the fridge.

I guarantee no one will go near it.
