Supplies Needed

You will need a Pringles can, scissors or an exacto knife, and a cell phone of your choice.

Remove the Bottom

Remove the lid and the bottom piece to end up looking as the picture. This might be a challenge to do without bending the cardboard of the can, but it can be done.

Measurement

If your cell phone's speakers are at the bottom place the cell phone on the can to center the speakers. Using the Samsung Galaxy SIII the speaker is on one side so when completed the phone itself will not be centered.

Cutting

Cut and peel the cardboard back slightly creasing it as you roll back to the desired width of the phone. You do not want to peel back too far wide or cut too long so periodically check by placing the phone in the groove for a snagged fit.

Finished Product

Turn on Pandora (or any desired music playing app) and place your phone inside the groove for an acoustic ampliphication that costs $3 and took less than 5 minutes! Stop the waste and upcycle used product containers. I have the finished product leaning against the wall but you can install foot pedestals or sometime of kick stand to support the unit. Get creative and design the can however you like.
