I made this costume at the end of July 2015. I went to Stockholm to attend Pride with a very vague Idea of what I wanted, but I took some materials and I was sure that I would come up with something.

I was there and started partying since Thursday and the parade was due to be on Saturday. I started to do the bra on Friday and did the rest. on Saturday morning. I finished just in time for the parade, but I was extremely tired. I don't know how I was able to go out two days in a row and be able to pull out this. When I went back home I felt all the tiredness at one time. My body felt like a stone and I slept the whole week.

What You'll Need

Believe me ai have so much stuffs at home that I'm able to do so many things without needing to go out to buy a single thing.

I think that the only new thing was the bra. I already had the corset since a couple of years ago.

Materials:

  • Glue gun
  • Fabric flowers
  • Rhinestones
  • Corset
  • Bra
  • Sequins
  • Feathers

Start glueing the flowers and put the rhinestones right away on top to save time and glue.

Put it along the border of the bra and try to find your own pattern. Believe me I just let the creativity flow here.

I Had squared stones in the same color so I decided to place them on a ramdom spot.

Finishing the Bra

When I was done with the red side I decided to start with the green. I wanted more variation here so I decided to try to make some flower patterns with the stones. Then I filled all the visible gaps with the sequins. Be careful with the sequins cause they are made out of plastic and doesn't resist much heat. It tends to melt very easily.

Play With the Colors

In the end I decided to create some kind of rainbow with the colors that I had on hand.

I glued the remaining flowers in diagonal, following the same diagonal pattern.

I Had some feathers too so I placed them on a corner.

Ta Dah!

Now is done and ready to be worn.

I made sensation during the parade and many wanted to takes pictures with me. I ended up in two newspapers so this costume is a winner baby!!
