This year, Christmas snuck up on me.I got all my shopping done just in time but just as I was.begining to relax, I realized that I forgot to make cards for my family!
I remembered a quick card design that I had done before and quickly gathered up all the materials to make these before I fell asleep.

Materials

The materials you will need for these cards are mostly some common items that can be found around your house:
-A blank piece of paper
-A piece of red card stock paper
-A pencil
-Scissors
-And pencil crayons or markers

Trace the Outline

Take the blank sheet of paper and fold it in half.
Take your pencil and draw 3 boxes stacked on top of each other on the folded side of the paper. Make the vertical line on the boxes dotted lines. One big box on the bottom, one medium box on top of the big box, and one small box on top of the medium box.

Cutting

With the scissors, cut along the solid lines on each box. Do not cut the dotted line of any the boxes

Fold and Pop

Fold each box up on the dotted line. Then open the card gently, be carful not to rip the boxes. Pinch the cut-outs vertically towards you carefully. Once the cut outs are popped out, close the card on them and press down

Decorate

Colour in the three boxes with pencil crayons or markers. Then just decorate the other parts of the card with whatever you want, I used a star stamp

Cut and Glue

Cut a thin line around each side of the paper. Then take the red card stock paper and fold it in half. Glue the white piece of paper into the card stock. You should be able to see a red outline around the white paper. If not, cut more around the outside of the white paper

Finish

Now put a nice holiday message on the card and hand it off to your loved one.
