Distance measurement is very crucial in robotics. In this project you can find the easy way to develop precise distance measurement using LiDAR. LiDAR is a Radar technology using Light rays instead of Radio waves in normal radar. Here I am introducing a small low cost LiDAR sensor VL63L0X. I am implementing all the setup in Arduino environment. Let's start......

Supplies

LiDAR sensor: VL53L0X

Arduino

LCD display : 1602

Resistor: 1K, 470E

Capacitor: 100uF, 100nF

Breadboard

Small pieces of breadboard connecting wires

Assembling Hardware

The circuit diagram is given above. Connect all the components as per the circuit diagram. Then Connect it to the PC. Before that ensure the PC is already having the Arduino IDE and all the settings and port are correct.

Uploading Codes

The Arduino code is attached here. Upload the code to Arduino and start measuring........

You can use this project in your coming project or previous project.

Enjoy....
