Practice Golf Balls (don’t Fly Too Far)

IMG_2310.jpeg

These are some pretty simple short range golf balls you can make for really cheap. I made these so anybody can golf in an open field without worrying about damaging anything or losing balls, but also not having to go super far to retrieve them. Really simple steps to make in minutes!

Supplies

Small rocks (about half inch)

Paper (use scrap to use less)

Masking tape

Getting the Core

IMG_2307.jpeg

Grab some small rocks that are about a half inch big. Try to get them as round as possible but it doesn’t matter too much.

Making the Ball

Get some paper and wrap it around the rocks until they are around 1.5 inches big. If they are smaller than 1.5 inches it is fine, but try not to go over too much. One sheet of regular paper should work fine.

Final Layer

Wrap this paper ball in masking tape tightly until it is around 1.6 - 1.7 Inches big. Wrap them so they are as round as possible and you are now done! These balls are made to not fly too far and be pretty cheap to make/use. Have some fun and go try these out!
