Blender is one of the essentials one uses everyday..but the only problem is that it is very costly to buy. Why to spend a couple thousand bucks buying a blender when you can make one yourself at an extremely low cost...

So let's begin...

Materials Required..

Now for making this blender you will need -

1. An empty jar(size depends upon you)

2. A DC motor(a strong one is highly recommended)

3. A screw and nut

4. A switch

5. A battery

6. A battery connector

7. A metal plate

8. 1 or 2 pens

9. Hot glue

10. Quick glue

Tools required -

1. Hot glue gun

2. Cutter

3. Soldering machine and iron

4. Knife and compass

Making the Jar..

firstly make a hole in the cap of the jar in which we can fit the rotator of the motor. For making the hole you can use the compass and the knife or some other tool you feel like. Once done, insert the motor in the hole as shown and stick it there with some glue.

Making the Blade..

Now this is the easiest step. All you have to do is that take a metal plate of thickness of your choice and cut it as a big plus as shown in the picture. Now make a hole in the very center of the plate and bend one pair of opposite blade in downward direction and the other pair in the upward direction.

Connecting the Blade and the Motor..

Now this part is very important. Now take two pens one with a large body like a gel pen and one with a small hole in the back like a ball pen and cut them out into small pieces. Now place the ball pen inside the gel pen and stick it firmly by using glue.

Now take a nut bolt and insert the screw into the blade and seal it with the bolt.

Now insert this screw in the other side of gel pen's body and seal firmly with glue.

Now insert the motor's stick into the hole at the end of the ball pen and seal it firmly using super glue because hot glue will be thick and may cause the motor to stop rotating.

Note- it will be better if you use lightweight screw or else it will be difficult for the motor to rotate it at a high speed.

Making the Circuit..

This is very easy as you just have to connect the motor, the battery and the switch and solder them. After you have made the circuit, stick the switch and the battery to the cap using hot glue.

You're All Done...

Now you're all done. Just put some fruits in it, close the lid and you're done!!!
