Pouch Adjustable Shopping Bag, Part of Pouch Wheelchair Accessories

The sustainable Pouch shopping bag is part of Pouch Wheelchair Accessories. It can be used on a wheelchair or just as a shopping bag. I wanted to design a shopping bag that can be on my wheelchair when it is opened or closed with out touching the wheels. • POUCH Shopping bag Template 
• Rain jacket (you can use any material)
• Elastic (I used what was on the rain jacket)
• Adjustable strap (I used one from a bag I bought at salvos/thrift store)
• Lighter or candle/matches 

Tools

• Pins 
• Fabric and paper scissors
• Needle and thread 

Print out template and use it to cut the fabric by hand or with a machine

• I turned the fabric inside out to sew the bottom of the bag
• you will also need to pin and sew the elastic at this time but mine already has the elastic

• The strap I used is from a bag I got at the thrift store, I wanted it shorter
• I used a seam ripper
• cut the webbing
• burnt the raw edges of the webbing
• sewed it back
• The strap, I created can be 35cm to 70cm long depending if the wheelchairs opened or closed I will adjust it

• I used two metal parts of an old bag to connect the straps to the bag
• I sewed the metal parts onto the bag with webbing
• The metal parts allow the straps to come off if you would like to use them for a different use
