Hi, I am creating this project because I am not the most organized person and it would help to be organized and save time by not looking for an item. I plan to keep this storage on my desk and utilize it for remotes. I have many remoted on my desk like tv, LED, lamp, fan, etc. I plan to put the remotes on top and keep them in one place which will help me find them easily. On the bottom, I plan to put clips in one holder then the other rubber bands and mini erasers. This will allow me to stay organized and find all items easily.

My name is Matt Kotzen and I attend North Broward Prep School.

Create a Box

First, create a box that is about 75 and 90. This will be a perfect size and to start with as a base. Remember you don't want to make too big or small because there are other layers.

Holes

For step 2 this part is up to on how big to make the holes. Make the holes a size you think will fit what objects you are interested in the storage holding. Mine are pretty big as they go close to the end of the base but there is still enough room in between. You want to keep the room between ends and the holes so the 3D printer does not mess up the design. In the picture, you can see my hole is 50.

Second Layer

Part 3, I created my second layer. You need a box. This box should be skinny as you can see in the picture and go between your holes. It's important you leave room between holes for the printer.

Add Another Box

Part 4, add another box on top of the support. This will be the second layer for more storage. Make this same dimensions as the other base box.

Make a Square Hole

Part 5, create a hole in the second-floor box. You can make this hole as big as you want and deep but make sure the printer has enough room to print sides.

3D Print

My final design has now been printed and the size is dimensions are big enough to store office items for my desk.
