Pork Roast, Just Kidding!

This is a dish that I really like that was popularized by a manga known as "Food Wars". I put my own spin on it so I hope you like it! Essentially this is mixed mashed potatoes wrapped in bacon with sauce. At the end this should taste like a pork roast! This will serve 3 people.

1. Chop up your mushrooms, onions, and celery.

2. Saute your vegetables in a large pan with your olive oil

3. Boil your potatoes

4. Mash the potatoes

5. Combine vegetables and potatoes into same pot

Once steps 1-5 are done stir well and then mold your loafs into 3 equal portions.

Wrap Your Loafs

Wrap the loafs in bacon. Wrap them so that you cannot see the potatoes and tie them with twine. The twine will keep the bacon on the loaf when you turn them in the oven. Now put them in the oven for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. After 15 minutes you should turn the loafs over so that the fat from the bacon doesn't fry the bottom of your loaf. You want it to cook evenly.

In a saucepan cook your red wine, butter, soy sauce until sauce thickens. Season to taste!

Red wine (15:1 of soy sauce)

Half stick of butter

Rosemary 2 pinches

Salt & Pepper

*Remember to remove twine before you pour your sauce over your roast!*
