This is a healthy way to prepare the Colombian chicharron or pork belly, and to be able to enjoy it without regrets since when preparing them in the air flyer we will not need to submerge them in oil to be able to enjoy some crispy and juicy pork belly accompanied by some rich and also crispy tostones of plantain without the need for so much oil.

Air fryers are a very practical appliance for those of us who want to lead a healthy life while still eating delicious food.

•We will start by washing our pork belly very well with water.

• With the help of the knife, clean the skin of the pork belly very well, removing all the impurities.

•Then with the knife make small holes in the skin and in the fat without reaching the meat, this will help the air and the seasonings to penetrate better

• With the help of the knife make cuts in the form of squares or teeth in the meat, make sure you don't get to the fat or the skin.

• Add the garlic paste to the meat, I love the flavor that the garlic gives to the pork rinds, then add the paprika salt and pepper, this simple but perfect fusion of seasonings.

•Take the pork belly and place it on a piece of aluminum foil

• Leave the meat side down and the skin side up without covering it with aluminum foil, this will make the meat juicy and the skin crispy, close the sides of the pork belly forming a kind of bed.

•Again place the air fryer now for 10 minutes at 200° C so that the skin of the pork belly is crispy and the meat is juicy.
