Popsicle Stick Wire Dispenser

This is a really helpful tool for wire spool that is cheap and keeps wire from unspooling. All you need are about 10 popsicle sticks, a hot glue gun, a wooden skewer, and a tiny piece of hook Velcro. So without further ado, let's get started!

The Frame

First, cut a Popsicle stick a little more than in half. Then, put another stick in between the pieces and glue a small piece on top of all three. Then, take three sticks, cut of one of the ends, and glue them vertically on the two ends of the middle stick and the longer end of the first one. Then, place diagonal support sticks from each vertical stick to the one it's glued on and glue them in place for stabilization.

Now, drill a hole slightly smaller than the skewer in the two sticks across from each other. Go to bigger drill bits until the skewer is difficult to get in, but possible to get out.

The Wire Holder

Now, cut a slot in the front stick and put a tiny folded piece of Velcro in it. When you put a piece of wire in it, it should stay firm.

Conclusion

To load the dispenser, take the skewer out, put a wire spool in between the Popsicle sticks, and put the skewer through it and back in place. Then pull out the end of the wire and put it in the holder. It should stay in place. Thanks for reading, and please vote, comment, and favorite!
