You need: pink yarn, pink pipe cleaners, scissors, and cardboard

Cut 2 cardboard circles of the same size. Then cut out a smaller circle inside each one, making a donut shape. Put the circles together. Cut a very long piece of pink yarn and begin wrapping it around the circles until fully covered.

Slide the scissors between the circles, cutting the yarn all around the edge. Slowly pull the two circles apart, and knot a piece of yarn at the middle. Leave the ends long, to act as legs.

Adding the Neck

Cut the pipe cleaner to the size you want the flamingo neck to be. Slide a piece of pipe cleaner in the hole inside the pompom before removing the cardboard circles. Trim the pompom where necessary. Bend the neck of the flamingo with your hands. Done!
