Polymer Clay Pumpkin

Hi! I am going to show you how to make a pumpkin out of polymer clay.

Tools & Colors

You will need:

Colors

  • Orange Clay
  • a small amount of pale green ( I mixed green with a bit of white.)

Tools

Pumpkin

Roll out a ball of clay. Then poke a small hole in the top with the ball tool.

The Lines

Take the ball tool and push down along the side of the pumpkin to make the lines.

Smoothing the Sides

Now smooth the down the edges of the pumpkin with your fingers and the ball tool to make them more rounded.

The Stem

Roll out a small piece of pale green clay into a cone-like shape and place on top of the pumpkin.

Finishing Up

Take the ball tool and press the bottom stem into the grooves of the pumpkin. Then twist the stem a tiny bit to give it more realistic look.

Baking

Bake in the oven at 275 °F for 15 minutes.
