Instructions:

  1. Start by mixing the white and translucent clays together, use more translucent than white.
  2. Roll it out and cut out two equal sized squares to create the bread.
  3. Pinch in the corners at the top to shape the soon to be toast.
  4. Create texture by stamping the clay with sandpaper.
  5. Use a brown pastel to add color to the crust and little bit of brown and light yellow for the center of the toast.
  6. Cut each piece diagonally, now using a needle, move it in a circular pattern to create the texture of cut bread on the inside of the sandwich.
  7. Bake the toast according to the instructions on the package.
  8. While the toast is baking, mix together equals parts of yellow clay with any left over white/translucent clay. Add orange pastel until you reach the desired color of cheese.
  9. Roll it out and cut out a slice of cheese.
  10. Add a few pieces of yellow polymer clay to translucent liquid sculpey and mash it up until you have a cheese like consistency. Add orange pastel until you are happy with the color.
  11. Once the toast has cooled, cut the cheese diagonally and add it to the toast.
  12. Spread the "melted cheeseā€ on the square cheese's edge letting a little bit ooze over the side.
  13. Bake the grilled cheese sandwich according to the temperature on the package.
  14. Once it has cooled, finish it up by adding gloss to the cheese which will give it a realistic look.
