Make a base shape out of crumpled foil then cover it with polymer clay. Take a toothpick or a needle and scratch the surface of the clay to make a "cake" texture. (You can also use a toothbrush to add texture.)

Next add colour using soft pastel chalks: Shave a bit of orange chalk powder and lightly dab the powder onto the raw polymer clay.

Roll a tiny ball of indian red clay and slightly push down the clay to make a teardrop shape.

You can use a needle to make the seeds of the strawberry. Next, dab a little white paint on the top of the strawberry.

Bake the Clay

Bake the clay (following manufacturer's instructions on the package)

=> for Fimo clay: 230°F (110°C) for 30 minutes.)

Allow the clay to cool completely before the next step.

You can use polymer clay varnish to create a perfect glossy finish on the strawberry!

First you will need to glue the "cake" to the compact mirror.

Then fill a disposable piping bag with silicone. Squeeze the silicone through the pastry tip and pipe some decoration around the cake. Create a frosting swirl on top of the cake. You can add a polymer clay strawberry & fake sprinkles on top!

~Voilà!
