Pocketable Phone Stand

You will need:

.115" thick wood, at least 6" x 2.5"

.125" dowel, about one inch long.

The parts are arranged in a line. Be sure to have .115" thick wood with 6" x 2.5" of free space. The .pdf is to show what will be cut out and dimensions of the base plate to show how big it will be after. Use tape to get the small peices out of the laser.

The long piece with three holes is the base that the two identical hinges. The top plate has the long hinge with the right angle.

Cut the .125" dowel about 15/16 of an inch. Sand the edges to ensure it slides in.

Assemble the parts, making sure the right angle is facing outward (this is what keeps the phone stand from rotating 180 degrees). Slide the dowel through the three holes.

You now have a working phone stand. It works best for landscape viewing but portrait viewing still works, it depends on what phone you have/use.
