have you ever needed more light? Maybe you want to add a more romantic mood over your dinner table? These candles are for you! In this instructable, I will show you how to create your own candles. I will show you how to make the candles using a crayon melter called Gadget Headz Robot Lab.

You Will Need:

You will need:
Gadget Herdz robot
Mold
Scissors
Wick- I used this twine-like string- you will have to experiment.
Wax

Wax

There are three different types of wax you can use.

The best thing you can use is candle wax.

Next, if you don't have an old candle lying around, you can use Babybel cheese wax. I used it in another Instructable that inspired this one. https://www.instructables.com/id/build_a_eco_friendly_candle/

Finally, as a last resort, you should use a crayon. They smell weird when you burn them.

Preparing the Wax

Candle Wax-
Using a knife or scissors, stab the old candle between the aluminum holder and the wax, then peel away the metal. Watch out for sharp corners. After the holder is cleared away, there will be a little metal thing at the bottom that holds the wick. Pull this metal piece down. The wick should come down too.

Babybel Cheese Wax-
Eat the cheese. Then throw the paper thing that you use to open it in the garbage. You will need to crumble up the wax into a ball to make it fit in the melting tub.

Crayon Wax-
Take the paper off the crayon. Next, crush up the crayon to make it fit in the melting tub. You will need around three crayons to make a candle.

Just Another Wick in the Mold

Just position the wick in a zigzag motion throughout the mold. It's as simple as the pictures. Place the mold in the green holder, and move into the machine.

I'M MELTING! I'M MELTING!

Place the wax in the melting tray. Next, turn the timer the light bulb. Wait 12-15 minutes for timer to get to the dump spot, and then pull the robot's incredibly buff right arm and dump the melted wax.

Finishing Up

When the timer runs out, press the button and take the mold out. You will want to put the mold into the freezer to let it harden the rest of the way. Take the candle out of the mold carefully. There may be some spare chips of wax surrounding the candle. Just break them off.

To light the candle, simply cut off the extra wick and burn.
