Plywood Assembly Table

My design is called a plywood assembly table. Designed by CNC and assembled manually, mostly assembled like Lego pieces using finger joints no screws, and no glue, but that doesn’t affect the stability of the design itself. A plywood assembly table is a place to do your work, fitting, attaching, gluing, and clamping. It will often be customized for the user’s preference, especially work jigs, as it is usually made by the worker himself. Also, it might have built-in hardpoints to clamp against, without obstructions. this was my university project so we use the uni resources but it can be done anywhere you can use the CNC.

Supplies

you will need 1 sheet of plywood CNC access and rubber hammer

we started by designing it with fusion 360 which will help us with the CNC work.

we laid everything flat and we spaced them for a 6mm endmill so we can do the cam in fusion 360

we made the toolpath in fusion 360 and the project uses 1 sheet of plywood

we cut them in the CNC we used a shopbot CNC we finished every part with matte polyurethane that will make it more durable
