Plush Llama

Here is how to make a Llama plush with a blanket

Supplies

two 8 in by 10 in pieces of fabric for the body of the Llama

a 6 1/2 in by 4 1/2 in piece of fabric for the blanket

Decorative trim

Black felt

Stuffing

Scissors

Sewing machine

Pins

Pin the Material

Download and print the pattern.

Place the two pieces of material for the body right sides together. Then place the pattern on top and pin.

Sew It Together

Next, sew these three layers together slightly outside of the pattern line, leaving the space between the legs open.

Then, remove the paper pattern piece.

Cut out the body 1/4 in outside the stitching line.

Flip It Right Side Out

Flip the body right side out.

Stuff the Body

Stuff the body using stuffing. Then sew up the opening in between the legs by hand stitching it.

Add the Eyelashes

Cut two rectangles of felt, then cut them so that they are fringed. Hand stitch them onto either side of the head.

Cut the Material for the Blanket

The measurements for the blanket are 6 1/2 in by 4 1/2 in.

Cut this out of any material you would like

Hem the Bottoms

Fold the material over 1/4 inch on the 4 1/2 in sides and pin it in place. Then sew both sides.

Sew the Blanket

Fold the material in half, right sides facing in and pin it. Then sew it, and flip it right side out. Iron the blanket so that it sits flat.

Add Decorative Trim

Tuck the trim into the two ends and sew.

You're Finished!

Drape the blanket over your llama, and add a ribbon garland necklace.

Now you have your very own soft and cuddly plush llama.
