I made a desktop PS5 controller holder. I made this because my controller kept falling so this gave it somewhere to be

Supplies

to make this I used a 3D printer anykind works, PC anykind works as long as you have autodesk inventor professional, a flash drive

Open Autodesk Inventor Professional 2024 and create a new part (.ipt)

Sketch

Press sketch and click on the XY plane. Then click rectangle and from the origin make a rectangle with the dimensions of Hight: 5.7in Length:2.4in

Extrude

Click finish step and then click extrude and extrude it by .25in

1st Line

Next click new sketch and click on the face of the rectangle. Click on line the add a line 2 in from the top. You can use dimensions to help with the measurements

1st Bend

click finish sketch and then click modify then bend part click on the line and make the angle 130 and radius 0.05

2nd Line and Bend

Of the former rectangle make a new line 1.5in from the bottom on the opposite side. Click finish sketch then modify then bend part click on the newly made line. change the angle to 90 then finish

On the same side make another line 0.5in from the bottom. Click finish sketch then modify then bend part click on the newly made line and finish the bend

If you have done it right the finished product should look like this.

insert your flash drive click export and then click on pdf file and add it to your flash drive then insert it to the 3d printer and watch the magic
