Plastic Bottle Plant Pot!!

Hello folks, want to recycle some used plastic bottles? Here's the deal, lets create a pot for a sampling.

There is a lot going around with recycling the plastic bottles so an idea hit me like a lightning.

I love gardening and to decorate the pots so thats how I landed on this idea!!

We will be making the artistic pot with wollen threads and some decorative materials, you can also use acrylic colours.

1. Water bottle
2. Wollen threads
3. Siccors
4. Gum/Glue gun
5. Decorative items (Plastic flowers)

It sure is the most important step .

Cut the bottle in half or at appropriate distance so as to get a good pot shape.

Make sure to cut it with safety or under supervision of your parents.

Decide a pattern

Start rolling the threads according to the pattern

Here I have decided to showcase a garden with flowers and grass

So first two layers are of ground soil

Next layer is of Grass. Roll out green coloured wollen threads to get the effect of grass.

Once this is over head on to the next step which is sticking the flowers and leaves.

This is where the pot will lokk like a garden.

Take some plastic flowers and stick to them as shown in the picture.

Now start making the leaves by taking three layers of the wollen thread and folding them as shown in the figures attached.

Glue the tip of the leaves so that it does not open up.

Now stick the stem to the bottom of the flower either straight or follow some curve path.

Once the stem is ready its time to stick the Leaves!

You can use remaining threads to decorate it a bit more.

Fill te pot with soil and plant a Sapling!!
