Plants vs. Zombies is a lot of fun to play. Doughnut holes are a lot of fun to eat. Everything is better on a stick. Combine all three, and you get Plants vs. Zombie Pops!

To make these, you will need:
plain doughnut holes
candy melts - brown, green, and white
lollipop sticks
polystyrene foam block
cling-wrap
candy eyeballs
candy sprinkles
Dots candy
yellow Reese's Pieces or m&m's
pastry bag
large leaf decorating tip
black sugar pearls

Melt a small amount of the candy melts.

Dip the end of each stick into the melted candy, and then push the stick into a doughnut hole. Avoid pushing the stick all the way through.

Push the stick into a piece of cling-wrap covered block of polystyrene foam.

Allow the candy holding the doughnut hole onto the stick to cool until it is completely hard again.

Make light green candy with equal parts green and white candy melts. Make light brown with equal parts brown and white.

Dip half of the the doughnut holes into light green melted candy coating, and cover them completely.

Dip the other half into light brown.

Put the pops back on the polystyrene foam.

Take a few orange Dots and Trim them into a cone or pyramid.

Cut a round slice off of the wider end of an orange Dot.

Mash the slice flat, then trim it in a square.

Using a bit of candy melts, glue the pyramid/cone to the square.

Cut red Dots into slices, then cut the slices in half to make a little flat half-circle of red gummy for each zombie pop.

Using a knife - and a lot of care - cut a small hole where the mouth needs to be on the zombie pop.

Push one of the little red gummy half-circle into the hole, making it recess slightly.

Sort out white sprinkles, and cut them in half.

Using a bit of your light green melted candy as glue, place the sprinkles into the mouth as teeth.

I suggest using tweezers for this, since the sprinkles are very tiny.

Glue road cones to the tops of some of the zombies.

Load an icing bag with a large leaf tip and some light green candy melts.

Pipe two leaves for each sunflower pop onto some silicone coated parchment, and allow them to cool completely.

Glue the leaves to the pops as close to the stick as possible.

Glue two black sugar pearls onto each sunflower to make eyes.

Gently draw a smile on each sunflower with a knife.
