I simply love "Plants vs Zombies" and I also love to decorate my (real) plants because I find it so cozy to look at.
The "Flower friends" can also be used as flower decoration for gifts.

What You Need:

The materials needed are straight forward, and I just used what I had laying around in my house.
I guess it would be best to use polymer clay, but I only had regular soft clay, so that is what I used, and used nail polish as varnish.

- Clay
- Glue
- Nail polish (gloss varnish)
- Toothpicks
- Tools for sculpting (I only used a cutting knife and the toothpicks)

Cut Out the Forms

Flatten the clay and cut out the shapes (for difficult shapes you can draw an outline with a toothpick/cutting knife).
Use your fingers to shape the finish and round edges.

Put the Forms Together

Press the different clay shapes together to create the figure.

Stop Motion!

Check out my stop motion video to see how I did it :)

Toothpick-stand

Glue a toothpick on the backside. The toothpick will stabilise the clay, but now we also have our character on a stick - ready as flower decoration that can be stuck in the soil!

Varnish

I used nail polish as varnish, and it worked ok. Remember to brush a lot of varnish on the areas where different clay shapes are put together to be sure that they will remain that way :)

You Are Done!

Let the varnish dry and you are done!
Hope you enjoyed it and that you have made some AWESOME flower decorations.
