Plant Pot for Your Houseplant

Hello! In this insturctable i will show you how to make a plant pot out of a chewing gum container or any other container you may have. Enjoy!

So the first step is to find a container and make it suitable for decoration. I found a chewing gum container that was just the right size but you can use anything really, as long as you are happy with the shape of it. I cut off the lid of the container with a knife.

I then removed the label from the pot. I used sticky stuff remover, something i will link below. I find it really useful as it litterally dissolves the labels!

Next you will need to prepare your pot for paint. I sanded the sides of the pot a little bit to prevent the paint just slipping off.

After that i painted it. I also used some varnish to give it a smoother finish and prevent the paint from falling off easily.

And there is my pot! I chose a simple design to compliment the stlye of my room but you can get even more creative and customise it to your needs. Thank you for reading my instructable!
