This is about the same build as the "pallet world map"(https://www.instructables.com/id/Pallet-World-Map/). I was bored ,and it was raining. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to make it. And of course you dont have to put a plane on it, you can put any picture on it. In this instructable i will also use a transfer marker. ( just so you know, i'm just using the marker because it's realy easy and i am in no way sponsorered by the company that makes these transfer markers. But if you want to check out the company here's a link: http://transfermarker.nl or https://makerisme.nl thier both dutch sites so yea).

Measure and Cut

For this project i chose a 120 cm or 47.2 inches pallet plank i still had from the pallet chest. First you have to sand the plank. Make sure that you realy sand it down good, i would suggest to use an electric sander. After sanding you have to cut the plank in half, so then you have a 60 cm or 23.6 inches plank. Now you also have to sand down the sides you just cut. For the back supports you first have to measure the hight of the two planks combined. My plank was originaly 10 cm or 3.9 inches wide( 10 x 2 = 20 cm or 3.9 x 2= 7.8 inches ). So now we know we have to make the two back supports 20 cm or 7.8 inches. Make sure to make two of these. Also sand these down.

Assemble

This step is not so hard. Just put everything together like seen in the picture. Just use 4 screws or nails in each plank, that means you have to use 8 screws or nails in total. You can also use woodglue if you want. Now put two hanging screws in the back supports and put a rope trough both so you can hang it up.

Now we are going to put the picture on. It doesn't have to be a plane. You can put anything on it text, photos, drawings. I used a transfer marker( just so you know, i'm just using the marker because it's realy easy and i am in no way sponsorered by the company that makes these transfer markers. But if you want to check out the company here's a link: http://transfermarker.nl or https://makerisme.nl thier both dutch sites so yea). i wanted to put a plane on the board because it was so wide. To put the picture on you first have to get one. I got mine from google. But if you want to put it on wood you first have to cut out only the plane, you can do this with paint. Now you have to put it in a word document. I had to cut the plane in two because it was too wide. Now you can print the picute. If you use text make sure that you mirror the text before you print it out, if you dont than the text will be mirrord on the wood. After printing it you have to put it on the wood. Do this with scotch tape. Make sure that you put the PICTURE on the wood so when you look at it you see white and not the picture. Now go over the back of the picture with the marker and than rub it with a round object like a spoon. But only do small parts of the picture at a time because if you dont it wont work. Do small parts at a time untill you went over the whole picture. Now take the paper of.

Your done! Have fun with you picture.
