Plaited Braid With Beads

Plaiting is a popular way of doing girls hair. I'm going to show you how to make a tiny plait on the side of the head with beads at the bottom.

You will need:
•Hair
•plastic beads with large holes
•small elastic band

Take a small chunk of hair from the side of the head around one inch wide. Make sure it's close near the top and middle of the head.

Now start plaiting. Split the chunk of hair into three equal sections. Bring a side section into the middle, then the other side section into the middle. Keep repeating this until you are about two inches from the end. Use the diagram to help you

It should look something like this. Remember to keep tight hold of the end.

Select up to three plastic beads with large holes. Wet the end of the plait with some water and thread the beads on.

Tie the bottom with an elastic band. I prefer to use a coloured one, but you can use any type, so long as it's small!
