This is how to make a Treasure box, that looks like a book! It's very simple, but you will need to have a 3D printer.
Create in Tinkercad

First, design the box. I used Tinkercad to create mine. OR, you can just have my the STL for the one I made. It's in the comments. :)
Printing
![IMG_1286.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F5K/OQWF/KPY2222E/F5KOQWFKPY2222E.jpg&filename=IMG_1286.jpg)
![IMG_1287.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FI5/CXHC/KPY2222K/FI5CXHCKPY2222K.jpg&filename=IMG_1287.JPG)
![IMG_1289.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FNP/RLUB/KPY2222L/FNPRLUBKPY2222L.jpg&filename=IMG_1289.jpg)
Now you print it. I printed all the parts separately. When you put it in the slicer, (before you print it,) make sure you have a fine layer hight. If it's not very good, the hinges won't work. (I speak from experience. ;-; )
Spray Painting
![IMG_1290.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F3W/DSPW/KPY2222M/F3WDSPWKPY2222M.jpg&filename=IMG_1290.JPG)
Then take all the pieces outside and spray paint them.
Painting the Gold
![IMG_1292.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FS1/HSKB/KPY2222N/FS1HSKBKPY2222N.jpg&filename=IMG_1292.jpg)
Once the spray paint is dry, bring the pieces back inside, and paint the hinges and border. I also got some of the paint on my finger and rubbed it into the 'pages' to make them shine.
And of course, if you have a dual extruder printer, painting it won't be necessary.
Assembly
![IMG_1293.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FCR/E3GF/KPY2222S/FCRE3GFKPY2222S.jpg&filename=IMG_1293.JPG)
Now hot glue the pages piece to the bottom piece, which has the binding on it.
Huzzah! It's Finished

![Screen Shot 2021-06-15 at 2.20.37 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F6Y/LG64/KPY2222O/F6YLG64KPY2222O.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-06-15 at 2.20.37 PM.png)

Then thread a chain, or wire, or thread through the hinges, and secure it. I think it looks like a real book! :)
If anyone makes this, please post some pictures, that would be so cool to see. :)
