Pinka and the Magic Forest

opening.JPG

Pinka and the Magic Forest introduces one of my grandchildren's favorite settings. There are so many fun possibilities when the story takes place in The Magic Forest. When we TELL stories with this setting, the stories are usually long and silly and the magic changes from day to day.

So without further ado, here is a short and simple introduction to The Magic Forest.

Storyteller Hints

Print the book, fold and cut the book using the standard minizine method.

If you want to start building your own set:

The Magic Tree is from a Playmobil Advent calendar. Sometimes you can find these on eBay.

You can use any trees for your forest. These came from a train set, I believe. We also use a few LEGO trees.

Carrots and cream pies are LEGO. Try brickowl.com or bricklink.com!

The grass is a tablecloth. Sky is a piece of blue paper taped to the wall. Magic Stream (it will be featured in the NEXT story) is cut from blue paper.

HAVE FUN!
