Tropical Parrot With Pineapple (fruit Salad)

Fruits are one of the most important foods for humans, they are fun because they have a thousand colors, shapes and flavors that we can enjoy

Fruits give us so many options that today I decided to turn a pineapple into a charming parrot, it is incredible how with a pineapple you can get a figure like this and many others (Dare to explore more figures with this fruit)

In this instructable we will learn how with the crown of pineapple leaves we can give the appearance of feathers, and make a cute parrot, on the other hand we will make a rich and exotic fruit salad, this is a very fun recipe.

Properly wash and sanitize fruits before starting

Take the pineapple and make a cut higher than half of the pineapple, all around it, separate the two parts

The bottom part of the pineapple will be the one that will go with the fruit filling and the top part will be to carve the shape of the decorative bird

Make a cut inside the pineapple around the edge, if necessary with the help of a spoon remove all the pulp which will be used later

The idea is to leave the pineapple empty inside since this will be the container for the fruit salad

With the crown of leaves from the top of the pineapple, the parrot that will decorate the salad will be made

First peel the pineapple after it has already been peeled, the parrot's head will begin to be carved, in an excess part of the pineapple and with small cuts give a round shape that will serve as a head, where the parrot's beak will be placed.

The crown of the pineapple will serve as a simulation of the parrot's plumage

With the help of scissors prune the leaves of the crown of the pineapple, with part of the leaves giving the simulation of the parrot's body, these leaves should be shorter

With the other part of the leaves, simulate the plumage of the parrot's tail, these should be longer

These steps of the cuts of the leaves will be to personal taste since you can leave more leaves long or biseverse

I chose a carrot to shape the parrot's beak, for its color and hardness

Only the tip of the carrot will be taken, this will facilitate the way in which the beak will be made, after cutting the tip a concave cut will be made in the lower part of the tip of the carrot, after this start sculpting to shape the peak.

With the help of a toothpick mount it on the parrot's head.

For the eyes, choose some papaya seeds (pawpaw), the size of these is perfect for the parrot

With a stick open a small hole to mark and introduce the papaya seed that will be the eye of the parrot
They are perfect!

With two toothpicks, place the decorative fruit parrot on the left edge of the pineapple.

It is adorable!

Pick a red, sweet, and cute strawberry to make a rose.
Place the strawberry on a toothpick and make 4 cuts at the bottom of the strawberry, then on top of those cuts make new small interspersed cuts, and so on until you reach the tip.

Place this strawberry rose next to the parrot

The next step will be to make the fruit filling, for the salad that will go inside the pineapple

First of all, peel and chop the papaya (pawpaw), the Bananas and the strawberries.

Then add the heavy cream and mix everything together, this will result in a rich fruit filling.

Add the fruit filling inside the pineapple

Choose an apple, with this take out a figure, in this case I choose a heart-shaped punch, in a piece of apple press with the punch and we will choose a piece of apple in the shape of a heart, with which we will decorate our salad

To decorate the salad, make some fruit skewers.
For these we will need tangerines, strawberry, kiwi, grapes, banana, plums
With the help of a wooden skewer, introduce the previously washed, peeled and cut fruits to our liking.

Grate 125 grams of cheese of your choice and add it on top of the salad.
