heat your oven to 392°F

during the heating-process mix the ingredients for the crust.
add as much milk as needed to get an not-crumbling and yet  -not sticky dough.

take a golfball-sized doughball and fill the cupcake-tin with it.
-see pictures.

the left-over dough is for the top-cover.

when your done place the tin in the oven for about 10 to 15 mins ( time is not that important)

The Filling

while the crusts are in the oven:

mix all ingredients for your filling.

maybe your dog has a taster ;) - if she's satisfied - fill the crusts.

The Top

take the leftover - dough and add some water - it should be easy to work with it
again : it should not crumble

flatten a small amount and lay it on the crusts and press it slightly down on the edges to close the pie.

You may decorate them with a little grated cheese ( ask your dog about it)

when your done - place the pies in the oven for about 15 to 20minutes.

Decorate

RIMG0896.jpg
if you like you can decorate your pies with dog-friendly treats.
i decorated a special one with banana-chips.

The pies are ment as a treat - so don't give your dog more than 2/day the left-over pies can be stored in the freezer.

Finally!

after the pies are cool ( of course!)
they are ready to serve!

as you see on the pictures Saruman does everything for it and it's a birthday pie :)

Warning: Don't use candles unless your dog is well-trained and comfortable with it!
PS: the pies are a good way to learn your dog that trick ;).
