I will be making a picture frame. This will be a smaller picture frame but should turn out decent. My hopes are for it to be fully functional for an actual picture. Stay tuned for woodworking and final product!

Supplies

Wood,L brackets, hammer and nails, sanding block, wood stain, tape for picture if needed.

Combined the frame and added L brackets for support. It was a little difficult making the cuts and edges were rough at first but I sanded them down a little. Also the finish was pretty smooth and wasn't to bad after all.

Began to stain the wood and get it looking like a picture frame! I picked out a darker stain just because I like a darker finish to the wood. Actually impressed on the looks it gave when it was dry. I really like the stain it gave and it looks good on the wood. I would definitely use this stain again!

I let my picture frame dry before adding my structure. Let it dry for a day and then worked on my border. It took longer than expected to completely dry but I wanted to give it time so the wood was ready. I didn't have the best place for it to dry out so I hung it up in my garage and it did the job.

Once everything dried I added my border. I nailed them together and 2 in the middle for support. Actually turned out better than I expected! Impressed on the turn out considering I was limited with tools. I had a lot of fun with this project and learned a few things on what I could do better on. I would definitely do it again!
