Designing the Parts for 3D Printing
Playing piece: simple design. Sketch to concentric cercles. Extrude the larfer cercle 0,5cm and the smaller to 1,5 cm. Add fillet to the edges.
Dice: Extrude a square to form the a cube and add fillet to the edges.
Hourglass: a bit more complex. Has 3 parts. Body, bottom and top.
Hourglass body: Extrude a rectangle to 5cm high. Add fillets and then build to bodies (the grey triangles in the pic above) to combine-cut-not keep bodies and give the angular shape to the upper part of the extruded rectangle.
Create the lateral columns to hold the piece together.
Hourglass bottom and top: is a simple piece extruded from a rectangle. First build the bottom and the Combine-cut-keep bodies with the hourglass body to make sure that both pieces fit perfectly. Use the mirror option again to build the top part.
Vinyl Parts
The vinyl parts can be design with Inkscape. Parts:
- Board
- box top outside layer
- Dice numbers and icons (pencil and hand)
Stick the cut vinyls with the help of a transfer tape: https://help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/36000943...
