Pickling As Transformative Process


Whether it's Beets, Pickles or Eggs, as in these examples, it's of great importance you have the freshest and most organically grown/raised.
I usually set myself up one day every month and decide what to pickle according to season.
Because many things aren't readily available [think farm-fresh] this month, i stuck to those pictured here - oh, and used cabbage to prepare some Sauerkraut as well (still fermenting). I look forward now already to radish season in the Spring!
