Homemade Pi cutter for a perfect Pi Pie!
Enjoy for a Pi Day!

Use an aluminum drink can or used candle holders to shape the Pi cutter. Can be used for fruits or pastry.

Pi Mixture:

2 Lg Granny Smith Apples
2 Lg Peaches
1/4 cup of sugar
2 tbsp of flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg~optional

Slice and cut with fruits w/ your homemade Pi cutter.
Combine all together.

PIE CRUST:

1 cup flour +
1/2 teaspoon salt - mix together in a bowl

1/3 cup coconut oil } cut into flour + salt until crumbly

3 tbsp ice water } add 1 tbsp at a time, lightly press with the fork until mixture sticks together when pressed between fingers

Roll out on pastry cloth that has been floured.

Place in the pie pan
Add Pi mixture*
Crumble the second half with lightly floured hands and sprinkle on top

Bake for 15 min. at 400º
Reduce heat to 350º and bake approx. 45 min. more
