Pi Desktop Computer
I made a project not too long ago which was making a raspberry pi desktop computer using only raspberry pi components exept the tv. I used the raspberry pi 4 8gb model with the raspberry pi keyboard and the raspberry pi mouse inclusing the official power supply. There is a video on how I amde the project and how cool it is. If you liked this project, please leave a vote, it will be highly appreciated!
Supplies
Install All the Components-
In the first part of the video, you have the part where you need to place the raspberry pi and the keyboard on the place you want, including the keyboard and mouse. You can attach the mouse to the keyboard and the keyboard to the raspberry pi to save some ports. Plug the power cable into the raspberry pi and in a power outlet. Plug the micro-HDMI cable in the raspberry pi and the other end in tv or a desktop monitor. You may experience trouble when getting the right proportions from screen to raspberry pi because the dimensions of displays may vary.
Install Software-
For this step, you might like to install software on the raspberry pi micro-sd card with the raspberry pi imager. Here is the link on where you should go. When you have accessed your imager, choose the sd card you want to format and select it. Then, choose the software you want to install and I recommend the raspberry pi Os full version because it has all the additions to it if you are not a programmer. The only downside is that you are less free to create your own desktop and the mods are harder to make.
Add the Pi Theme-
In this step, look at the end of the video for details about how to install a new background. You first have to go on the internet, find a cool background you want to have, and download it. Then, you have to go into the appearance settings and select the background you have just downloaded. It will look so much cooler after, believe me!
