This is a tutorial on how I created a poster on different plants that make you hallucinate. The tools I used are: Rectangle Select, Magnetic Lasso, Patch Tool, Eraser, Type Tool, Opacity Adjustments, and Brightness & Contrast Adjustments.
Step One: Starting a New Document

First what you need to do is push new project and choose what type of document best fits what you will be doing in you work. I chose A3 from under print and then pushed create.
Step Two: Editing Image
![Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.57.07 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FA3/NDTC/KM3GC25N/FA3NDTCKM3GC25N.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.57.07 PM.png)
I copied an image of some foxglove I found online and then pasted it into the document. I then used the magnetic Lasso tool to get rid of the background and make it so that it was just the flower left.
Step Three: Image Opacity
![Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.55.52 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F24/9F16/KM3GC24S/F249F16KM3GC24S.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.55.52 PM.png)
I double clicked on the layer that the flower was in and lowered the images opacity, to make it more faded.
Step Four: Creating Words
![Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.54.29 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FTW/JK5D/KM3GC246/FTWJK5DKM3GC246.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.54.29 PM.png)
I clicked the T (to create words) on the side to type "hallucinogenic flowers", and changed the font and size of the words. I then went to where it says warp and edited that to make it more curved.
Step Five: Adding Brightness and Contrast
![Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.53.29 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FUB/QNRX/KM3GC23L/FUBQNRXKM3GC23L.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.53.29 PM.png)
I clicked on the image I wanted to edit and went to Image-Adjustments-Brightness & Contrast, and then changed some of that.
Step Six: Group the Layers
![Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.47.36 PM.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FNE/IJI1/KM3GC1ZV/FNEIJI1KM3GC1ZV.png&filename=Screen Shot 2021-03-10 at 8.47.36 PM.png)
Click Layer and then use hold command and G at the same time to group them.
