Sketching the Phone Holder Frame

- Start a New Sketch:

- Create the Phone Holder Rectangle:
- Draw a rectangle representing the phone's resting surface.
- Use dimensions close to 4.3 in. x 2.5 in. (adjust for your phone's size).
- Extrude the rectangle 0.24 in. thick.
- Create the Bottom Lip:
- Draw a small extruded lip (0.4 in. high, 0.2 in. thick) at the bottom to hold the phone in place.
- Fillet the Corners (Optional):
- Apply a fillet (0.12-0.20 in.) to smooth out edges for a more polished look.
- Add an Overall Slot on the bottom lip (Symmetric extrude cut)
- 0.747 in. width x 0.297 in. height; 1.044 in. wide (Charging output hole)
Extruding the Holder

- Select the Profile: Choose the entire phone holder sketch.
- Extrude the Frame: Use the Extrude tool to add depth (~0.4 in.) to the frame.
Creating the Support Rod

- Create New Sketch on the Bottom Surface: Start a new sketch on the back bottom center of the holder.
- Draw a Circle: Draw a small circle (0.25-0.5 in. diameter) at the center to act as a support rod.
- Extrude the Rod: Use the Extrude tool to pull the rod downward to the base (3-4 in. length).
Creating the Base

- Create New Sketch on the Bottom of the Rod:
- Start a sketch on the bottom plane of the rod.
- Draw the Circular Base:
- Draw a large circle (3-5 in. diameter) for stability.
- Extrude the Base:
- Use the Extrude tool to pull the base up (0.2-0.4 in. thick).
Adding Tilt to the Phone Holder

- Modify the Rod Angle:
- Select the Move/Rotate tool and adjust the phone holder's tilt (20-30° backward) for a comfortable viewing angle.
- Join Components:
- Ensure the frame, rod, and base are joined as one solid body.
Final Touches

- Add Fillets to smooth sharp edges.
- Use Chamfers to refine transitions.
- Apply Materials & Colors for a more realistic look.
Now you have a tilted Phone Charging Dock designed in Fusion 360!
