Phone Holder Adapter for Bike

As a middle schooler at Wayland Middle School, I need to commute to school, so I usually bike. Also being a middle schooler, I enjoy the use of my phone and listening to music on it. I often find myself stuck at stoplights for long periods of time, with nothing to do, and taking my phone out of my bag would take too long. So, with this adapter for a phone tripod stand, and the use of a 3D printer, I can look at my phone during stoplights or listen to music.

Supplies

  1. 3D printer (I used a Prusa)
  2. Bike
  3. Some nuts and bolts (you can easily adapt your design to whatever you have on hand)
  4. Phone tripod adapter
  5. Computer and Fusion 360

Print!

I used 20% infill, 0.3 mm detail, supports everywhere, and no brim. It took 30 minutes to print on a Prusa.

As you might be able to tell, just clamp the parts to the handlebar and screw on your tripod phone holder. Be careful, though, don't watch or play anything on your phone when you're biking because that could lead to serious injuries.
