Jeepney Pride is a project that aims to mitigate the negative effects of the current jeepney modernization plans in the Philippines especially in replacing one of the country's most loved and used transportation vehicles. It aims to fuel the spirits of the affected jeepney drivers and commuters from the unaffordable maintenance costs and increased transportation fees and commemorate the very essence of our beloved jeepney through a figurine to evoke admiration and nostalgia to prevent it from being replaced.

Attach the Bottom Wheels to the Base

Untitled design (23).png

Designate and attach two wheel parts for each end attachment on the jeepney's base as shown. Use sandpaper for the attachment if a friction fit system does not work when attached.

Attach the Jeepney's Front Panel & Side Wheels to the Base

Untitled design (25).png

Attach the Jeepney's front panel to the main base, with the same orientation, to the "attach here" holes as shown by the picture provided. Attach the last two bigger wheels on the jeepney wheel attachment on the side of the front panel. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Attach the Front Side Panels of the Jeepney to the Base & Front Panel

Untitled design (27).png

Prepare two Large L connectors with a 3mm hole on their intersection, two halved-small-letter T part, and a 60mm x 30 mm rectangle part with one 3mm hole.

Using a halved-small T part, attach this to the 3mm hole of the 60mm x 30mm rectangle part, and to the hole of the large L connector, respectively. As shown by the diagram provided, attach the bottom part of the L connector to the base of the jeepney with an "attach here" blue label, while its other end to the front panel with an "attach here" red label. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Repeat this step on the other front side panel of the jeepney.

Attach Top-front Panels & Driver's Panel to the Jeepney's Front Panel

Untitled design (28).png

Prepare the two top-front panels of the jeepney that are in different sizes but similar shapes. As shown by the diagram, attach the larger top-front panel to the bottom-conjoined hole of the jeepney's front panel, together with the driver's panel, respectively.

Using the smaller top-front panel, attach it to the top-conjoined hole of the jeepney. This should be on top of the larger top-front panel. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Attach the Steering Wheel to the Driver's Panel

Untitled design (29).png

Prepare a 3mm x 11mm rectangular part for the attachment of the steering wheel to the Driver's panel. Attach this rectangular piece to the leftover hole of the Driver's panel, then attach the steering wheel onto it. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Attach the Front-front Panel

Untitled design (30).png

Prepare two medium-sized L connectors, a 35mm x 19mm rectangular piece with two holes, and the front-barred hull part to complete the Front-front panel of the Jeepney. First, attach one end of the L connector to the joined top-front panels, while the other end, attach it to a hole of the rectangular piece and the front-barred hull, respectively.

Repeat this step for the other medium-sized L connector. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Attach the Jeepney Commuter's Base to the Main Base

Untitled design (32).png

Prepare two 47mm by 60mm rectangular pieces and two bottom-front jeepney seat pieces. Using a bottom-front jeepney seat, attach it to the holes of the commuter's base (two rectangular pieces) and attach it to the main base of the jeepney. The respective attachment-to-hole connections are as follows based on the diagram given. Sand the attachment part appropriately if the friction fit does not work.

Prepare a 3mm x 6mm rectangular piece and a 21mm x 13mm rectangular piece with a hole. Attach the 3mm x 6mm rectangular piece onto the hole of the 21mm x 13mm rectangular piece and the hole of the jeepney's base as the 'commuter's stairs'.
