Peter Penguin Glow in the Dark USB Friend
For the project, I made a 3d print of Tikercad's mascot, Peter Penguin, that can be plugged into a USB port. Though I had to do this for a class, my inspiration came from a file I found on Thingiverse titled Fred the frog USB friend by gentlemangoose. Fred is a small frog that plugs into the side of your computer. After printing Fred the frog, I thought making my own "USB friend" would be fun.
Supplies
For this, I used my computer to design a file, a 3d printer to make it, and glow in the dark printer filament to make it glow.
Step one was to print Fred the frog to get an Idea as to how well it would print, fit, and how big it needed to be.
Design
Step two was designing my own "Usb Friend" using Tinkercad.
Next was testing the design and making adjustments.
Once I was done with that I printed it off as well as a small hat. Then all I had to do was glue the hat on.
