Have you ever had that problem when your out door pets water freezes. Well I do so I made a heated bowl to keep there water from freezing.

Supplies

Old Clay garden pot for the base.

Plastic bowl to hold the water.

light fixture.

Non led light bulb so it will get warm.

Metal or stone file.

A part for the base. I used an old pice of metal I had laying around. All it does is makes space for the cord.

Making the Hole

This is the one step you need a tool. Start by flipping the pot so the bottom is visible. Use a file to make the hole in the pot bigger so it can fit the plug of the light. Now put the light in through the top of the pot and have the cord come all the way out of the bottom.

Preparing the Base

For this step I used that old piece of metal I had. You can use anything that can hold the pot up off the ground. All it does is make space for the cord. I bent the knobs on the piece of metal up so it would give a little more room for the cord.

Assembly

Place the pot on top of your stand the screw on the lightbulb. Place the bowl on top on the pot then fill with water. Not to the rim of the bowl. Then bring it outside and plug it in.

Be careful with this do not leave fully unattended because it may start a fire. 🔥
