I wanted to impress at a St. Patrick's day party; so I made individual Shepard's Pies. mmmm

Bake and Replace

Start by baking your potatoes on a sheet pan in the oven.

When fully cooked let cool and cut in half.

Once halved scoop out the potato into a bowl.

Cook some ground lamb and add into the potato cavity!....let cool

The Yummy

After I added the ground lamb to the potato I topped them with a nice shredded cheddar cheese!

Piping

Take your removed potato that is in a bowl add turn to a fluffy mash.

In my bowl I add butter, cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg.

When lumps are out scoop your mash into a piping bag with a star tip.

Squeeze potato toward the tip and then twist the open end so that pressure pushes the mash out of the bag,...like toothpaste container.

Garnish

After the potato piping I added fried onions to the top like a garnish.

Being that all ingredients that need to be cooked are, you can then close your catering/baking container.

Bring to your party as such but be sure to re-heat in oven, 350f for 30 min.

Enjoy,...and gifts of Guinness is always appreciated, and you will be added to my will. : c )
