Perfectly Cooked Eggs

eggs.jpg

Over the years I have perfected the art of cooking eggs. While frying eggs is very simple, I have used a specific method that is simple and delicious, with minimal fat. For this recipe you will need

1. 3 eggs

2. A frying pan with a lid.

3. Olive oil.

4. A paper towel.

5. A bowl to crack eggs into.

Crack Your Eggs

Crack 3 eggs into a bowl. Make sure not to crack them too hard or the egg yolks will get runny.

Olive Oil

Put a small amount of olive oil in the pan about the size of a penny. Then use a paper towel to spread it around the pan, there should be a light coating of olive oil on the pan.

Put Your Eggs in the Pan

Put your eggs in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. Set the stove heat to medium for about 1 minute.

Turn Down the Heat

After it has been on medium heat turn the heat down to low heat. Wait three minutes before lifting the lid

Check Your Eggs

Periodically you will want to lift the lid every 1-2 minutes. When the yolks are orange, move the pan around a little. If the yolks are not firm you will want to wait another minute with the pan covered.

Serve and Enjoy

Once the egg yolks are orange and firm, turn off the stove and put the eggs on the plate immediately. Even after you turn off the stove the stove and frying pan will still be hot and the eggs will continue to cook. Wait for the eggs to cool down a little and enjoy.
