Perfect Snickerdoodles
These snicker doodles are delicious! Honestly, once I start eating these, I cannot stop! Unlike several other snicker doodle recipes, this one includes cinnamon in the dough, not just on the outside.So enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Dry Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f. Mix the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and 1 tsp of cinnamon in a small bowl.
Wet Ingredients
In a large mixer, combine the butter and 1 cup of the sugar.
Slowly whisk in the eggs and vanilla. The resulting mixture will be thin and light peach.

Finish the Dough
Put the blender on a low speed and scoop in the flour mixture. Keep the blender going throughout and add the flour about 1/2 cup at a time. When finished, the dough should be thick and soft.
Finish the Cookies
Fill as bowl with the remaining cinnamon and sugar. Roll the dough into small balls and roll in the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Put the balls on a cookie sheet and press down on them with the bottom of a glass.
Bake for 10-11 minutes.
Makes 36-48 cookies, depending on the size of the dough balls.
