Penelope's Butter Slime #HMS2020

Today, I'm going to make butter slime.

Supplies

bowl/container, spoon, small cup, 1 bottle of Elmer's school glue, measuring spoons, clay (do not use air dry clay), Borax, food dye or paint (optional), and lotion (optional).

Making Activator

First, pour 1 cup of water into your cup. Next, pour 1 teaspoon of Borax into your cup with water. Mix until all the Borax is dissolved. This process will take about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then set aside.

Making Your Base

Now, pour the entire bottle of glue into the bowl. Add optional dye or paint to the glue and mix. Add extra color if desired but not too much because the slime might dye your hands.

Now, slowly add Activator (Borax and water from Step 1) to the glue. Do not add too much because the slime will become very stiff. Once it starts sticking itself, start to kneed the slime with your hands. If it is sticky and is sticking to your hands, add more Activator until it stops sticking to you. Now, add optional lotion. The lotion will make the slime softer. Finally, add clay. Continue kneeding the slime until any clumps dissolve. Now, you have butter slime.
